ARIZONA'S
LITTLE GRAND CANYON
![]()
We'll descend the mountain and pass the twelfth century hill top pueblo called Tuzigoot and several small cliff dwellings perched high above the Verde River.
When
we reach the mouth of Sycamore Canyon there will be a short hike down to Sycamore
Creek. Towering red rocks, springs bubbling from the ground, lush patches
of green grass and water cress. This is a place of great spiritual power that
few visitors to the area experience. As with all our tours, we'll be talking
about everything from geology to ethnobotany.
